Xbox Subscription Management in Settings App
Microsoft is now adding the ability to manage your Xbox subscriptions directly from the built-in Settings app. If you are a member of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass for Console, or Xbox Live Gold, you will now be able to see your subscription details and manage it via Settings app » Accounts. New Braille Displays in Narrator
Microsoft has introduced new Braille displays as well as new input and output languages for the Narrator. The new Braille displays supported by the Narrator now include the APH Chameleon, the APH Mantis Q40, the NLS Reader, and many more. Known Issues
[General]Some games that use Easy Anti-Cheat may crash or cause your PC to bugcheck.There are reports that the audio has stopped working for some Insiders after upgrading to the latest flights.There are reports of a few different apps having started crashing in recent builds.There are reports that some Insiders are experiencing bugchecks when moving their mouse in certain games.There are reports that some Insiders are seeing OneDrive setup asking for permission to set up every time their PC reboots.[File Explorer]There are reports that a small set of Insiders with “launch folder windows in a separate process” are unable to open File Explorer after last week’s flight.There is an issue where command bar items like copy, paste, and empty recycle bin may unexpectedly not be enabled when they should be.[Widgets]The notification badge number may appear misaligned on the taskbar.In some cases, the notification banner for some badging will not appear in the widgets board.There are reports that the weather isn’t displaying correctly in the taskbar for some Insiders, with missing text and the weather icon raised too high.
Should You Update?
Considering the new features, improvements, and fixes, as well as the issues in this flight, we recommend that it is safe to install this update as long as your work on your computer is not audio-oriented. Some Insiders not being able to hear any audio after upgrading to the recent Dev channel builds is an issue that has been there since the last few flights. If you haven’t been affected by those, there is a high chance you won’t be affected by this release either.
How to Install Windows 11 Build 25193
To install this update, you need to be running Windows 11 and subscribed to the Dev channel. If you have enabled Windows updates, you will automatically get a “New features are ready to install” prompt. If not, follow these steps to install the update: Once the computer restarts, you can verify that the OS has been updated to the build specified by typing in winver in the Run Command box. Click Download and install in front of it.Begin downloading the update
Rollback/Remove Windows 11 Insider Preview Update
If you do not wish to keep the installed preview update for some reason, you can always roll back to the previous build of the OS. However, this can only be performed within the next 10 days after installing the new update. To roll back after 10 days, you will need to apply this trick.
