Intel Wireless driver types
We will highlight the four types of drivers that have been updated from Intel. Two are for wireless Bluetooth devices, and two are for Wi-Fi devices. Each of these devices has 2 variants of drivers – One is for the home users (regular users) while the other one is designed for IT administrators. Differences in driver types
As understood by the term “home/regular users,” these drivers are most suited for individuals running standalone devices. As for the drivers for IT administrators, these are most suited for devices running in an enterprise organization. Intel recommends these for large corporations, medical centers, and universities. However, smaller organizations may also benefit from the added installation and deployment features.

The new Intel Wireless Bluetooth Driver 22.20.0 brings a couple of fixes and enhanced performance. This version of the driver is only supported for Windows 10. Let’s discuss what has changed since the previous version of the driver.

Here is a list of the problems fixed with the new update that existed in the previous versions:
The issue of a yellow bang being displayed over the Bluetooth device in the Device Manager when the computer woke from Hibernation has been fixed.The issue of the Bluetooth mouse getting disconnected when resuming from Modern Standby mode has been addressed.Security fixes have been added to this update.

Intel Wi-Fi driver version 22.20.0

Users will now not encounter the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) caused by the Intel Wireless driver.The BSOD will not present itself anymore while transferring large files from one PC connected to a Wi-Fi 6 Access Point to another PC in a mixed-mode environment.An issue with the mobile connection failing when connected to Wi-Fi 6 adapter system using Windows Hotspot has been addressed.Security fixes have been added to this update.
